In a bowl add all the ingredients, flour, yeast, sugar, salt and olive oil. Add slowly the water and mix with a whisk. It should become a porridge-like mixture.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or towel and allow it to rise in a warm and dry environment. In a frying pan toast the sesame seeds. After a while, put the sesame seeds and the walnuts in a food processor and blend. Put it aside.

When the mixture is ready, add Cretan extra virgin olive oil Elasion in a pan and heat.

Close to your frying place a glass of water with a tablespoon.

When the oil is hot enough, soak your hands, grab hold of some of the mixture in your palm and squeeze the dough out from between your thumb and index finger. Scoop up the dough with the wet tablespoon. Drop it into the hot oil and turn them over with a slotted spoon all the time until become crunchy.

Set the dumplings onto a plate lined with paper towel.

In the end, remove the paper. Soak them up with honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds and cinnamon.

Good luck!
